Thermoplastic Extrusion Projects - Process Development - Norfolk, VA

Select appropriate screws and modify twin extrusion machines according to end user compound selection and project requirements.

Shall:

*** Utilize knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of thermoplastic elastomers or thermoset rubber to select appropriate screws.

*** Develop new production process methods for end users based on their application and formulation of production.

*** Work on projects to improve efficiency such as run rates, setup time, yield etc.

*** Establish work goals and performance standards to reduce reject rate and minimize downtime.

B.S. degree and at least 3 years comparable experience required.
