Develop and conduct multi-step organic synthesis for small molecule drug substances. The scope of interest includes raw materials; intermediates and drug substances; pre-formulation and product formulations; and support for process technology transfer activities.

*** Research and develop methods for synthesizing APIs.

*** Establish analytical methods in the company laboratory to be utilized in Contract Manufacturing Organizations.

*** Execute current synthetic processes to produce small molecule drug substances.

*** Develop characterization tools to assist with data development and promote drug substance material and process understanding.

*** Manage technical transfers of both process and supporting analytical chemistries to external Contract Research and Manufacturing Organizations.

*** Author technical documentation such as development reports and technology transfer packages and adhere to cGMPs.

*** Use of modern chromatographic, spectroscopic, and analytical techniques.
