Subrogation Claim Supervisor - Dallas, TX

Seeking Subrogation Claim Supervisor to resolve complex subrogation claims and manage outside subrogation counsel and a subrogation Third Party Administrator.

The Job:

*** Independently manage case load within assigned authority including collecting and investigating supporting documentation, assessing liability, and negotiating settlements with carriers and individuals.

*** Assign and direct activities of subrogation attorneys, collection agencies, and recovery third party administrators, including assigning subrogation files, providing recommendations for settlement and disposition of claims, and auditing as needed.

*** Make timely and appropriate recovery assignments, determine and complete appropriate level of investigation to assess liability and determine damage and best recovery plan.

*** Identify, prepare, and refer files suitable for inter-company arbitration or suit.

*** Assist and train new hires in subrogation.

Requirements:

*** 3+ years of claims, legal, or subrogation experience in the insurance industry.
