Seeking a Primary Casualty Underwriter to review, evaluate, classify, and rate each risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing.

Responsibilities:

*** Evaluate new and renewal policy applications and related documents to classify and assess individual risk, determine acceptability, assign rating, indicate endorsements and limits, and determine appropriate pricing.

*** Approve or deny within given authority or recommend approval or denial to higher authority.

*** Serve as point of contact for brokers and agents regarding underwriting strategies and appetite. Establish, maintain, and develop agency and broker relationships.

*** Develop and maintain new and renewal bound files, underwriting worksheets, and relevant documents.

Required:

*** Bachelors degree.

*** 3+ years of Excess and Surplus Lines, Construction, or similar Insurance Underwriting experience.
