Take responsibility for the full life cycle development of electro-optical-mechanical Class I and II Medical Devices that withstand cleaning and sterilization, are safe and reliable, look beautiful, and are intuitive to use. Full life cycle development includes initiation, design, development, execution, and product maintenance.

Shall:

*** Use CAD software such as Solidworks and analytical tools such as FEA and CFD to design components or functional systems, and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.

*** Develop and optimize designs through prototyping, modeling, simulation and analysis.

*** Recommend alterations to development and designs to improve quality of products and procedures.

*** Determine and develop test requirements for components, assemblies, and systems.

*** Support surgeon and distributor customers by training and educating on technical aspects of assigned products.
