Seeking Mechanical Engineer with experience acting as the liaison between the customer and the company to review customer requirements and design mechanical components of material conveying and sorting systems such as:

*** HYDRAULIC & PNEUMATIC COMPONENTS: cylinders, pistons, pumps, compressors, tubing, valves, connectors, filters, actuators, regulators, gauges, etc.

*** CONVEYOR COMPONENTS: Belts, chains, bearings, gears, bushings, sprockets, motors, reducers, rollers, slides, shoes, trays, tracks, pusher assemblies, vibrators, gliders, air sweeps, slats, tubes, chutes, stops, feeders, etc.

*** ACTUATORS: electric ball-screw actuators, pneumatic actuators, rodless electric linear actuators (screw driven or belt driven), rod-style screw drive linear actuators, low profile actutors, inline actuators, stepper drives, servo drives, brushless servos

*** STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS: Floor supports, guard rails, stringers, hangers, braces, mounts, joints, frames, counter weights, hoods, seals, brackets, rubbers impact bars and shock mounts, castings, stampings, etc.

Requires experience meeting with client representatives to gain insight into customer desires and equipment requirements as well as hands-on experience designing mechanical components based on customer needs.
