Provide plant automation, data management, system life-cycle documentation, and Process Controls support of manufacturing operations for an operational cGMP biopharmaceutical production facility.

*** Provide technical engineering services for manufacturing, building, and utility equipment including Allen-Bradley PLCs, iFIX, GE Unicorn, Siemens, Factory Historian, Finesse Emerson DeltaV, Building Management System.

*** Manage automation projects involving retrofits, optimization, and acquisition of process systems such as Fermenters, Bioreactors, Autoclaves, Glasswashers, TFF skids, Chromatography skids, Fill line, Lyophilizers, Automated Inspection line, Batch reporting system, Air Handling Units, WFI stills, Reverse Osmosis skids etc.

*** Create system life-cycle documentation such as Functional Requirements Specification (FRS), System Detailed Design Specification (SDDS) and control wiring diagrams for automated control systems.

*** Work with vendors to assess product applicability to projects or procurements.

*** Negotiate contracts, bids, and change orders with vendors or contractors.

*** Implement and maintain automation systems, resolve technical issues with automation problems, and communicate status to management.

*** Validate computerized systems including protocol generation and execution.

*** Maintain and document cGMP equipment and system modifications and upgrades through approved change control methods.

*** Create and implement corporate engineering policies, procedures, guidelines, and SOPs.

*** Support quality investigations for identifying and resolving quality issues.
