Exciting growth opportunity for an experienced process engineer with track record in a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) or contract manufacturing organization (CMO) with specific training and work experience in oral solid dosage manufacturing for small molecule drugs.

Shall:

*** Analyze equipment setup, process layout, and equipment capabilities (will the current equipment work, or should new machinery be purchased)

*** Scale up manufacturing processes from lab scale batches (100 g to 5 kg) to clinical manufacturing (from 1 kg to 50 kg)

*** Evaluate and revise manufacturing processes to reflect changes from lab scale to clinical.

*** Recommend in-process testing measures of tablets and capsules for parameters including weight, uniformity, disintegration time, tablet friability, tablet hardness, etc.

Qualifications:

*** Proven experience developing, optimizing, and revising manufacturing processes for clinical production of small molecule oral solid dose forms (tablets, capsules, powders, etc.)

*** Understanding of preformulation testing and formulation processes for oral dosage forms
