Seeking Senior Research Specialist to join Protein Chemistry group and support research, development, and pre-clinical therapeutics through small-scale protein expression, purification, and biophysical and functional characterizations for target proteins and antibodies, and by designing and implementing robotic protein production systems.

Requirements:

*** Bachelor's degree with 10 years of laboratory experience in biochemistry, cell biology or molecular biology; or Master's degree with 8 years of same.

*** 5+ years experience in protein purification or related biochemistry areas.

*** Hands on knowledge of recombinant protein expression at multiple scales using mammalian culture processes.

*** Experience with protein engineering technologies producing monovalent and bispecific antibody formats and protein biochemical and biophysical characterization techniques including Biacore, Octet, Ion-Exchange High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Size-exclusion Chromatography, and Capillary Electrophoresis.

*** Knowledge of high throughput technologies for production, characterization, and functional testing of new therapeutic proteins.
