Manage a team of underwriters and brokers within the Surety business unit.

Shall:

*** Train, mentor, and oversee performance management for surety unit, coordinate workload, and ensure team is appropriately staffed to meet client needs.

*** Establish and maintain relationships with practice leaders, carrier clients, advisors, and sales professionals.

*** Cultivate new clients and establish relationships to drive revenue growth.

*** Analyze risk reports, develop innovative approaches to difficult client needs, and articulate product value to clients.

*** Design and develop competitive and innovative insurance products that develop new clients and retain existing clients.

*** Review and clarify contract documents, bond forms, and banking terms and conditions.

*** Review and guide Client on terms and conditions of General Agreement of Indemnity required to be executed by Clients for all surety transactions.

*** Participate in revenue and budget process.

*** Monitor changing risk and insurance market conditions for coverage lines and specialized products to better serve clients.
