Seeking individual with experience underwriting casualty programs and ability to oversee underwriting activities of selected MGAs.

Activities:

*** Assess risk factors and evaluate individual risk exposures through analyzing applications, reports, contracts, credit reports, loss runs, etc.

*** Grow a book of business focused on casualty programs.

*** Provide authority to MGAs, evaluate submissions that lay beyond the MGA's authority and approve or deny based on risk and other factors.

*** Visit MGAs and perform audits to ensure adherence to requirements and verify underwriting activities remain within levels of authority.

Requirements:

*** 8+ years relevant experience, familiarity with managing activities and providing authority to multiple MGAs with program underwriting responsibilities.

*** Proven success underwriting various classes of General Liability.

*** Ability to develop and maintain underwriting guidelines, rules, and regulations.
