Seeking experienced Underwriter with strong background underwriting Commercial Casualty with emphasis on GL, or Specialty Casualty exposures.

Qualifications:

*** 8+ years relevant experience underwriting GL, Property, or Specialty Casualty for commercial contractors, construction project owners, mining, forestry, or similar.

*** Must be able to provide oversight and authority to MGAs.

Functions:

*** Lead the interaction and management of assigned MGAs, ensure proper adherence to levels of authority granted, and assess applications above the level of authority. Manage underwriting requirements for binding coverage.

*** Underwrite and grow a profitable book of business including apartment owners, manufacturers, retail establishments, or distributors.

*** Maintain administration of programs, visit customers and develop relationships leading to sustainable and profitable business.
