Growing, highly-rated manufacturer of state-of-the-art medical devices and components seeks experienced process technician with direct expertise in scientific molding processes, techniques, and concepts.

Shall:

*** Identify daily production schedules, oversee mold setup technicians and operators, and identify solutions to problems with machines, process, molds, materials, etc.

*** Troubleshoot molding process and record changes on change logs, report to engineers with changes.

*** Use project documents, charts, and knowledge of scientific molding principles to evaluate and resolve problems.

*** Adhere to production schedule and identify hold-ups in the process.

*** Inspect machinery, document repair requirements, recommend repair or retooling of molds, etc.

Requires:

*** Practical knowledge of scientific molding concepts and techniques such as Viscosity Curve, Cavity Balances, Pressure Drops, Cosmetic Process Windows, Gate Seal Studies, Cooling Time studies, or similar.

*** Experience with RJG eDART or similar system.

*** Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems in molding machines.
