The Scientific Director will represent US Medical Affairs as a therapeutic area expert in both internal and external venues, Medical Affairs sub-teams, advisory boards, and steering committees

*** Lead various Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups

*** Provide expert scientific and medical knowledge for input and review of: disease strategy plans, abstracts, posters, slides, manuscripts, educational materials, webcasts, Investigator Initiated Trial protocols, Commercial Brand plans, Scientific educational grant requests and patient advocacy

*** Partner with commercial teams on developing publication strategy, gap analysis, and key messages

*** Act as Medical Affairs Liaison with key stakeholders as a scientific and strategic expert for internal teams (Marketing, Market Access, Clinical, Statistics, Translational Research, Regulatory Affairs, Project Leadership) and external partners (Independent Investigators, KOLs, steering committees, Scientific Advisory Boards, Advocacy groups, Cooperative groups)

Qualifications

*** MD, PhD, DO, or equivalent advanced degree

*** Expertise in Neuro-Inflammation, Neuro-Immunology, Neurodegeneration or similar Neurological focus

*** Excellent analytical skills and proven experience translating complex medical and scientific information into medical affairs strategies

*** Developed Medical Affairs presentations focused on facilitating interactive discussions, and conversations with thought leaders.
