Design, program, and integrate new or update existing programs for Automation & Process control infrastructure.

*** Work collaboratively to design, review, gather information, inspect, and commission projects that involve process control equipment or systems.

*** Research, recommend, and implement systems to enhance Systems functionality and reliability.

*** Create engineering plans to design, monitor, build, and commission automation & process control systems, including P&IDs, control elementary drawings, ISA instrument specifications, and loop diagrams.

*** Review control logic strategies, implement programming changes to optimize control strategies, and automate where appropriate.

*** Configure and program Allen Bradley, Modicon, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Emerson PLCs and Iconics, Intellution, Wonderware components.

*** Develop, deploy, and maintain standard and custom programming and configuration code for process control systems, make changes to existing programs, and review work performed by outside contractors.

*** Install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair Process Control Systems consisting of SCADA, Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, etc.

*** Participate in factory testing and coordinate control system issues between project engineering, instrumentation contractor, and client.

*** Perform quality assurance checks of automation & process control systems.

*** Advise, instruct, and assist operating company personnel on operation and maintenance of Process Control equipment or Systems.

*** Coordinate maintenance activities on process control equipment or systems including upgrades and replacing hardware and software.
