Install, program, troubleshoot, service, and document electrical and controls needs of process and production Robotics equipment in a manufacturing facility.

*** Develop, maintain, and improve control systems, including programming ladder logic, PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, GE, MicroLogix, ControlLogix, PLC-5), and HMIs.
*** Update and maintain RS Logix, MicroLogix, ControlLogix and PLC-5 Software.
*** Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair process and production Robotic equipment and related electrical equipment, such as electrical control circuits from 24v up to and including 480v AC, electro-mechanical test devices, instrumentation devices, PLCs, and variable frequency drives.
*** Troubleshoot Fanuc, ABB, and other robotic systems and controls.
*** Troubleshoot CNC Machine tools, including Heller, Prism, ABA, Elb, Liehber and Toyoda.
*** Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
*** Calibrate instrumentation equipment and controls for optimum performance.
*** Operate measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments to help provide energy efficiency solutions.
*** Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
*** Ensure compliance to codes, regulations, and industry standards.
*** Identify and correct safety-related issues.
*** Identify and document cost savings.
*** Mentor and train less skilled technicians.
