Requires experience programming, troubleshooting, debugging and preparing robots to customer specifications including developing programs and interfacing with system programmable controllers from beginning to end.

Shall maintain, service and repair as needed as well as train customers and employees.

Typical Activities:

*** Setup robots to customer requirements including installation and configuration of appropriate hardware and software options.

*** Maintain, program, troubleshoot and repair robotic systems including programmable controllers, circuit boards, control panel wiring, sensors, encoders, servomotors, sensors and feedback systems.

*** Support development and improvement of robot processes.

*** Assist in the integration, start-up and debug of associated and peripheral plant equipment.

*** Analyze and resolve robotic welding failures.

Requirements:

*** Training certification in robot programming or 3+ years experience servicing robots such as: Nachi, Fanuc, Kuka, Motoman, ABB, Yaskawa, Adept, Janome, or similar .

*** Ability to conduct electrical diagnosis.

*** Solid computer skills.

*** Intuitive ability with electro-mechanical systems.

*** Knowledge of robotic welding.
