Modify and optimize reagents in support of development, validation, and execution of molecular biomarker assays.

*** Plan, design, and conduct experiments in the support of new product development.

*** Create, develop, and optimize new reagents and kits relating to molecular biology and functional proteomics & genomics.

*** Support development and utilization of molecular profiling technologies, including genotyping, qPCR, RT-PCR, multiplex PCR, TaqMan, gene expression arrays, cytogenetic assays, sequencing, and multiplex sequencing.

*** Assist with stage gate new product introduction processes with individual and team projects.

*** Perform data analysis, write reports, and present results as well as project assessments to senior management.

*** Provide technical expertise related to protein purification, protein & peptide synthesis, protein sequencing, peptide mapping, immunoassays, antibodies, SDS-PAGE (Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis), and fusion protein expression & production, and similar.

*** Serve as subject matter expert related to molecular biology, sample preparation methodologies, protein biochemistry, proteomics, genomics, target identification and validation, laboratory automation, and similar.
