Seeking Research and Chemometrics Scientist develop additives to monitor the quality of crude oils and refinery intermediate processes and implement solutions to client refineries and refinery industry.

Responsibilities:

*** Develop and apply analytical and synthetic chemistry methodologies for use in the improvement of refinery techniques.

*** Work with key scientific personnel, within academia and industry research, to further improve analytical chemistry, chemometrics, and their practical applications.

*** Research and produce recommendations and solutions to operational and scientific issues.

Required:

*** Bachelors of Science in chemistry and chemical engineering or similar.

*** Extensive experience in data analysis, chemometrics, and data science applied to chemical and physical systems.

*** Four years experience as a Research or Academic Chemist with experience in the use of statistics and modelling techniques.

*** Experience in the Operation, maintenance and modification of laboratory instrumentation.
