Seeking Quality Engineer with background leading quality improvements for a precision machining manufacturer producing parts to meet aerospace specifications.

Shall:

*** Initiate and manage quality activities to analyze product and process non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement changes to processes or designs.

*** Provide instructions to manufacturing, process, and quality personnel to drive continuous improvement.

*** Investigate and identify root cause of non-conformance, in supplier shipments, fabrication process, assembly process, etc.

*** Develop and initiate corrective actions and evaluate success.

Requirements:

*** Experience in a quality engineering role within a specialty manufacturing environment, precision job shop, or similar environment. Aerospace experience ideal.

*** Experience leading internal audits, scrap reduction, and root cause analysis efforts.

*** Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, part specifications, process sheets, etc.

*** Practical knowledge of NADCAP, AS9100, and ISO 9001 standards.
