ISO 13485 certified manufacturer of custom molded medical device components seeking individual with project engineering, process design or optimization, or tooling design experience to lead rubber molding activities for close-tolerance injection molded parts.

Activities:

*** Design project timelines, create budgets and Bill of Materials for custom orders.

*** Ensure project meets deadlines from start through production readiness.

*** Verify project adheres to established timelines and deadlines, from design through first production run.

*** Manage tooling projects.

*** Recommend appropriate materials based on project requirements.

*** Revise design geometry as needed based on characteristics of the selected materials.

*** Oversee creation and validation of processes for injection molding operations.

Requirements:

*** B.S. degree in Polymer Science or Engineering discipline.

*** 5+ years plastics or rubber industry experience in project management for manufacturing or tooling projects.

*** Ability to drive continuous improvement and provide cost and time reduction measures for production lines.
