Global manufacturer and supplier of injection molding machines seeks project engineer who can act as liaison between designers and external customers to create and develop innovative parts, equipment, and machinery for the plastic molding industry.

Duties:

*** Work with customers and designers to create parts and components with specialized applications such as polymer mixing, extruding, blow and injection molding.

*** Manage product development projects from concept to completion.

*** Assist customer in selection of products for specific polymer or processing application.

*** Recognize and document new technology and submit for possible Patent Application.

Qualifications:

*** BS degree and at least 4 years of experience managing product development projects in the plastic molding industry.

*** Understanding of plastic molding machine design, screw design, and polymer processing techniques.
