Seeking project engineer with medical device manufacturing experience to perform as a liaison between the engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure product production success with a wide range of plastic and rubber disposable and implantable medical devices.

Activities:

*** Create and review product designs, material specs, and assembly processes.

*** Meet with external vendors to order custom tooling and fixture components for products unable to be produced in-house.

*** Develop and document standard operating procedures and assembly instructions to simplify the process and improve ergonomics.

Required:

*** Experience with SolidWorks, TurboCAD, AutoCAD, ProE, OpenSCAD, or similar 3D modeling software.

*** Medical Device engineering experience with single-use, implantable, or disposable medical devices and components such as tubing, syringes, catheters, etc.

*** Bachelors Degree in biomedical, mechanical, electrical engineering, or similar.
