Product Development Engineer - Electro-Mechanical Medical Devices - Raleigh, NC

Description
Connect with an elite product development team involved with a company manufacturing and selling state-of-the-art Electro-Mechanical Medical Devices to companies in industries including neurology, oncology, endoscopy, cardiovascular, orthopedic, and respiratory.

Responsibilities:

*** Evaluate ability of current equipment and processes to meet new product requirements based on customer and regulatory standards.

*** Recommend purchase of new machinery and redesign of manufacturing process based on product needs.

*** Create SOPs, training manuals, and other relevant documentation to ensure adherence to newly established processes.

*** Lead training initiatives for setup personnel, machine operators, and process technicians.

Qualifications:

*** 3+ years experience in medical device assembly or similar manufacturing activities.

*** B.S. in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.

*** Expertise in an ISO 13485 certified facility.
