Manufacturer of petrochemical products seeks Principal Process Optimization Engineer to support day to day routine troubleshooting and optimization of issues at client Refinery sites.

Duties:

*** Develop and implement Distillation and Fractionation technologies.

*** Provide troubleshooting and de-bottlenecking assistance.

*** Establish feedstock processing, operational, hardware change, unit performance & conditions monitoring, and similar processes.

*** Visit client facilities to evaluate units, conduct performance tests, troubleshoot, design improved processes, and optimize units.

*** Assist with capital technology selection and front-end engineering.

*** Supervise turnarounds and power outage inspections.

*** Train and mentor associate engineers.

Requirements:

*** Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or similar field.

*** 20+ years of unit operation & troubleshooting experience in the Petrochemical, Refining, or similar field.

*** Experience with Fractionating Internals Process Design and Hydraulic ratings.

*** Hands on knowledge of troubleshooting and optimization of Fractionating Towers, Separators, and Distillation Columns.

*** Ability to operate Primary Crude Fractionation Desalting, Vacuum, or similar systems.
