Provide key automation support for cGMP manufacturing systems used to produce state-of-the-art vaccines and therapies.

*** Install and maintain new equipment and automation systems in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices.

*** Ensure efficient operation of automated processing and information technology systems including Programmable Logic controllers, SCADA, Process Control Systems, and Original Equipment Manufacturer systems such as Sartorius single use bioreactors and Stick built Water for Injection generation and distribution systems.

*** Periodically review automation documents, preventive maintenance, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with GMP, environmental, and safety regulations.

*** Develop corrective actions for automation anomalies and oversee investigations to prevent recurrence.

*** Identify and implement process and equipment improvements and manufacturing efficiencies.

*** Evaluate automated and information technology systems and develop strategies to optimize and ensure quality and stability through future expansion, replacement, or upgrade.
