Seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead unit troubleshooting efforts, manage variable cost performance, and support capital projects & process engineering operations.

Activities:

*** Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize process units and similar equipment.

*** Identify equipment inefficiencies and deterioration of assets. Calculate commercial impact and make recommendations.

*** Provide process engineering support for optimization, process improvement, cost reduction, and similar.

*** Support Layers of Protection Analysis reviews, Hazard & Operability studies, incident investigations, and similar.

*** Assess and address variances between plan and actual asset performance.

*** Assist development of variable cost budget.

Requirements:

*** Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field.

*** 3+ years of Chemical Engineering experience at a Chemical Plant, Refinery, or in a similar industrial setting.

*** Expertise in troubleshooting process equipment and related piping & instrumentation (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and vessels).

*** Hands on knowledge of process design, valve & pump sizing, and similar.
