Seeking Process Engineer with optical coating design and deposition experience to develop new thin film processing applications and confirm existing process applications on production and R&D ion beam processing platforms.

Activities:

*** Drive custom equipment design modifications to optimize performance in thin film sputtering, ion beam processing, vacuum coating and thin film etching processes.

*** Evaluate thin-film properties using analytical methods and tools such as Profilometry, XRF, XRD, SIMS, AFM, SEM, etc.

*** Conduct new tool acceptance testing and process qualification.

*** Write technical proposals.
