Process Development Engineer - Powder Compaction - Ann Arbor, MI

Description
Seeking Process Engineer with an understanding of batch processing and compaction of powders for high-tech startup making giant strides in the field of advanced manufacturing. Candidate must have experience personally developing and validating processes for the handling of powders used in laundry detergents, dish soaps, disinfectants, deodorizers, or similar household powdered chemicals in a manufacturing environment. Must be formally trained in quality systems including but not limited to ISO 9001, Advanced Product Quality Plans (APQP) and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP).

This person shall:

*** Implement quality programs for New Product, New Specifications and Technology Transfer projects including developing quality processes, forms, and work instructions and training production staff in those procedures

*** Maintain most up to date quality standards and certifications

*** Design and test physical and chemical measurement procedures

*** Train other employees on the proper execution of testing methods and interpretation of their results
