Leader in injection molded plastics industry seeks Engineer who can drive Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the facility. Will identify and implement continuous improvement activities that will result in cost savings, utilization and efficiency improvements, and overall safety of the employees in the plant. Acts as a technical bridge between Product Engineering and the plant floor.

** Actively drive continuous improvement programs, encompassing every aspect of the manufacturing process, from raw material to finished goods.

** Work with teams to select optimum manufacturing methods and sequence of operations to produce high quality products at the lowest cost.

** Provide technical input on process control systems.

** Prepare program cost estimates for equipment requirements.

** Present capital expenditure justifications for repair, replacement or upgrade of production equipment.

** Coordinate the installation and start-up of production equipment and required auxiliary equipment.

** Support multidiscipline product teams.

** Conduct failure analysis studies, identify root cause, and implement CAPA activties.

** Oversee technical and non-technical personnel.

Requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Materials Science or related technical field, and supervisory experience. Seeking high-energy, motivated person to fill visible position.

Potential total compensation package up to $160,000 including enefits package - FSA and 401K savings plans, healthcare, vision, dental, Rx, Life, paid holidays and vacation, continuing education assistance.
