Description
Seeking individual with a passion for leadership, team building, and operations management who can run a facility consisting of 700+ skilled team members, advanced composite molding equipment, and brand-new manufacturing management systems.
Shall:
*** Establish short and long-term strategic operating objectives and build budgets with a focus on sustainable, profitable manufacturing operations.
*** Plan, direct, manage, and oversee plant operations including production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, maintenance, and accounting.
*** Forecast and schedules production plans according to corporate vision and business plans.
*** Direct, manage, and develop supervisory team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
*** Establish, communicate, implement, and enforce safety programs, initiate routine safety inspections, and ensure proper use of equipment through training and continuous reinforcement.
*** Develop annual Operations and Maintenance budgets, include forecasting capital project costs and monitor compensation levels for personnel to maintain employee satisfaction, ensure internal equity, and increase external competitiveness.
*** Ensure plant facility and equipment are maintained and inspected frequently for adherence to EH&S and OSHA requirements.
*** Identify new sources of raw materials and ensure internal supplies meet production requirements.
Required:
*** 10+ years plant management expertise within a manufacturing operation.
*** Knowledge of manufacturing processes for structural composite products for the aerospace industry, familiarity with vacuum infusion, hand layup, compression molding, etc.
*** Expert in all facets of manufacturing operations management including team building, associate relations, quality, customer service, purchasing, logistics, marketing, and financial reporting.
