Mid-sized chemical plant operating diverse temperature dependent processes requires hands-on Plant Engineer with ability to: specify customizations to heat exchange equipment, circulators, boilers, chillers, valves and their controllers, etc.; source and select components and sub contractors; advise maintenance and installation crews; and program instrumentation and controllers.

Shall:

*** Design and implement controls and instrumentation.

*** Troubleshoot, retrofit, repair, maintain, program and calibrate plant instrumentation and electrical control systems related to heat exchangers, pumps, automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, electrical AC/DC power, etc.

*** Support and direct maintenance team and capital equipment engineering staff.

*** Monitor plant systems, analyze performance, and initiate action for improvement and optimization.
