Manage pipeline systems during normal pipeline operations including: start-up, shutdown, abnormal operating conditions, flow adjustments, and maintain product quality during product batch changes.

*** Operate and control pipelines within safety limits including maximum operating pressure (MOP) and maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP). Interpret Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system data to make operational decisions.

*** Oversee fuel quality instrumentation, follow batch cut procedures, and prevent contamination.

*** Communicate with field operators and technicians for pipeline equipment and asset calibrations and scheduled down time.

*** Monitor leak detection software and trends to identify possible pipeline release.

*** Review and respond to alarms in compliance with Alarm Management response guidelines for console.

*** Evaluate and respond to emergency and non-emergency phone calls to console and initiate emergency response.

*** Identify and troubleshoot product quality and measurement issues with technical support from field team members.

*** Maintain daily shift record of events and equipment malfunctions as it relates to Control Center Console and field pipeline activities.

*** Conduct complete shift turnover of operations prior to controller assuming responsibility of console and associated pipeline systems.

*** Track product batch and communicate estimated arrival times to pipeline intersections and receipt locations.

*** Interact with customers to assist in receipt of product loads.
