Personal Lines Insurance - Product Manager - Richardson, TX

Description
Perform complex product development functions involving product research and target market selection, development of product offerings, product life cycle assessment, rate level establishment, and similar.

*** Conduct complex statistical and business analysis to determine risk, rate making decisions, and formulate product development strategies including new product design, development, and existing product enhancement or retirement blueprints.

*** Devise and propose specifications for product design and strategies based on competitive market and financial analysis.

*** Utilize financial models to produce comparisons, trend analysis, forecasts, and similar for actions involving coverage and rate adjustments.

*** Evaluate underwriting performance result ratios and expense levels to develop accurate business forecasts to plan and implement product development projects.

*** Establish and maintain product pricing structure.

*** Collaborate with Information Technology, Underwriting, Claims, and Marketing on appropriate phases of product development cycles and implementation of geographical expansion initiatives.

*** Maintain working knowledge of system requirements and resource constraints necessary to plan successful implementation of product changes.

*** Update appropriate insurance applications, coverages, policies and contractual language, coverage forms and endorsements, eligibility, rate and rule manual pages & rating plans, and underwriting and pricing rules and guidelines.

*** Establish benchmarks and analyze performance ratios and product results against targets and benchmarking criteria to evaluate product development effectiveness.

*** Publish Rules, Rates and Forms, develop and implement appropriate electronic and paper publications, and collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional information and training materials.
