Seeking individual with strong background in opto-mechanical engineering who can design, prototype, test, and approve fixtures, mounts, and packaging for optical and electronic components of optical measurement, imaging, and scanning products.

Background:

*** Experience with opto-mechanical design and engineering for packaged electro-optical systems incorporating mirrors, lenses, and prisms.

*** Ability to design suitable mounts for optical components for extreme environments where heat flux and vibration are enemies to system operation.

*** Expertise with transferring design information from Zemax, OSLO, CodeV, or similar and performing opto-mechanical design in TracePro, Sigmadyne, or equivalent software.

*** Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar.

*** Experience utilizing servo motors to adjust focal points and perform optical analysis utilizing ray tracing.
