Onsite Service Technician - Wet Chemistry Lab Instruments - Philadelphia, PA

Seeking individual who can install, set up, troubleshoot, calibrate, tune, repair, and train lab technicians and chemists on proper operation of precision analytical instruments for molecular analysis such as GC-MS/MS, MS, GC, etc.

Activities:

*** Install brand new state-of-the-art analytical instruments and lab equipment.

*** Set up, calibrate, tune, and test instruments.

*** Train lab technicians on operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance.

*** Inspect and diagnose problems, perform repairs, replace worn parts, and upgrade software.

*** Equipment serviced includes: High Throughput Handling Robotics; Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry LC-MS-MS Equipment; Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Equipment; Linear Ion Trap Mass Spectrometers; Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometers, Chemiluminescence Detectors; Diode Array Detectors; Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers; Capillary Flow Devices; Columns; Well-Plate & Micro Samplers; Ionization Systems & Drives; Electron Multipliers; Vacuum Systems; Degassers; Micro Pumps; Ion Gauges; Sensors; Chillers & Heaters; Injection Systems; Linear Ion Traps; Energy Detectors; Collision Cells; Multiple Reaction Monitors; Electronics (Polarity Switching & RF Drive; Pneumatic, Temperature and Injection Controls, Signaling); Curtain Gas Interfaces; Microflow Hybrid Electrodes ; Pulse Counting Detectors; Reciprocating Plungers; High-Pressure Binary Gradient Pumps; User Interfaces; Printers; and similar.

Practical Experience:

*** 3+ years similar experience working on instrumentation from Agilent, Waters, PerkinElmer, or similar.
