Seeking Senior Gas Pipeline Engineer able to apply expertise in engineering principles related to oil and gas pipelines and construction projects.

Qualifications:

*** B.S. in Engineering discipline with a Professional Engineer certification.

*** 3+ years experience in pipeline design or pipeline integrity management.

*** Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and other design documents

*** Knowledge of design, installation and commissioning of gas pipeline systems including transmission pipelines.

*** Familiarity with gas and liquid separation, heating and flow or pressure regulation, measurement and odorization.

*** Experience planning and executing pipeline integrity management tasks including Inline-Inspection (ILI) and DA, pipeline remediation, threat identification and risk assessment.

*** Knowledge of industry codes and standards.

Shall:

*** Manage pipeline design and construction projects and incorporate integrity assessment plans.

*** Provide analysis, design, specification and cost estimates for new or updated gas transmission systems.

*** Make decisions on engineering problems and methods using knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

*** Review and assess new technology, materials and equipment for pipeline projects.

*** Monitor and coordinate engineering activities for field construction projects and lead staff engineer teams.

*** Prepare short and long term facility plans, incorporate project cost and manpower requirements.

*** Create SOPs to facilitate construction and maintenance as well as pipeline integrity assessments and continuous operation of gas transmission and distribution systems.
