Provide technical assistance, direction, and support for application and inspection of protective coatings.

*** Coordinate with superintendents and field engineers regarding coatings activities.

*** Establish requirements for manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements for coatings work activities.

*** Prepare field material requisitions for coatings products and equipment, and monitor status of purchase orders and deliveries.

*** Oversee coatings inspection activities to ensure coatings applications meet latest revisions of design drawings, specifications, standards, and codes.

*** Troubleshoot and resolve coatings issues with engineering and fabricator.

*** Complete coating system walk-downs, deficiency tracking, and close-out.

*** Complete and verify quality documentation per inspection and test plans.

*** Maintain necessary SSPC or NACE certifications.
