Bring your expertise with metal treating processes for structural steel, titanium, aluminum, or related alloys to a company working to manufacture and finish components of large outdoor equipment, specialized military vehicles, aircraft, satellite antenna assemblies, etc. with a focus on enhancing durability, strength, and quality of the material.

Activities:

*** Evaluate current metal treatment, coating, and plating processes.

*** Identify improvements and modifications to current processes to optimize quality, strength, and durability.

*** Analyze project requirements for a variety of applications to identify project specific modifications and process changes (aircraft landing gear components vs satellite antenna surfaces, for example).

*** Pursue and maintain adherence to standards defined in NADCAP, TS16949, NMMA, SAE, AS9100, ISO 9000, ASTM, ASM, or similar relevant standards.

*** Remain an expert in coating and surface treatment processes including Titanium-Cadmium plating (Ti-Cad), Passivation, Anodization, Nital Etching, etc. for aluminum, steel, titanium, or similar.

Qualifications:

*** Expertise with Ti-Cad, Passivation, Nital Etching, Anodization, Coating, Painting, Heat Treatment, etc.

*** 5+ years direct metallurgy and metal treatment expertise for structural components exposed to the weather.
