Assist Metallurgist in metallurgical examinations, failure analysis, and similar issues related to processing and production.

*** Conduct metallurgical tests and inspections for hardware and process acceptance on product.

*** Perform failure analysis of parts; determine cause of failure; and recommend solutions.

*** Test heat treat furnaces for surface contamination.

*** Process all tests subcontracted to outside source per customer requirements and tests requested by internal members.

*** Release test results to intranet upon completion of review.

*** Coordinate with internal and external sources to establish preventative maintenance schedules for Scanning Electron Microscope and other analysis equipment.

*** Manage and order supplies, consumables, and similar.

*** Serve as subject matter expert for queries related to Material Safety Data Sheets, labeling, and storage requirements for chemicals.
