Seeking experienced quality manager who can develop people, plans, and processes to prevent problems, reduce waste, and improve product quality within a growing contract manufacturer with capabilities including:

Flexible, rubberized molded medical devices and components including grips, duckbill valves, check valves, rubber septums, plunger tips, O-rings, syringe components, bottle nipples, etc.

Requires experience developing a Quality Management System and ensuring manufacturing, testing, assembly, and packaging processes follow industry and regulatory standards.

Shall:

*** Lead the quality team; coach and train technicians and monitor performance.

*** Create and implement supplier quality requirements; source new suppliers if current ones cannot meet requirements.

*** Initiate internal quality audits, liaise with customer auditors and regulatory inspectors.

*** Develop quality inspection plans for incoming raw materials, work-in-progress pieces, and packaged goods.

*** Maintain adherence to ISO 13485 and FDA quality requirements.

*** Evaluate results from GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), DOE (Design of Experiment), and Gage R&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility) studies.
