Seeking individual with background in mechanical design for highly customized packaging equipment or similar highly customizable machinery used in specialized facilities producing large volumes of small products.

Responsibilities:

*** Meet with customer representatives, product designers, and engineering team members to discuss and identify customer needs based on application, size of operation, and quantity of product.

*** Develop 2D and 3D designs using CAD software.

*** Ensure adherence to design for manufacturability protocols.

*** Create Bills of Materials for new equipment, ensure all non-standard parts are documented properly for future spare part or replacement orders.

Qualifications:

*** 2+ years hands-on design experience utilizing 2D and 3D design and modeling software for automation systems, packaging lines, or similar complex machinery.

*** Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
