Seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a company specializing in designing and building customized automated material handling systems incorporating automated storage and retrieval systems, carousels, conveyor systems, and sortation systems.

Responsibilities:

*** Design mechanical and structural aspects of material handling system.

*** Develop system layouts and floorplans with customer engineers and design teams.

*** Evaluate equipment tolerances and customer desired capabilities to modify and update designs.

*** Source vendors for spare parts, subassemblies, and custom fabricated parts.

*** Specify and select existing mechanical components for built to order systems.
