Seeking degreed Engineer with knowledge of mechanical design aspects of electromechanical or mechatronics projects involved in the research and development of new products improving the quality of life for those with physical disabilities.

Shall:

*** Lead design projects aimed at developing novel products for robotic assisted rehabilitation.

*** Contribute engineering expertise to design whole, integrated systems incorporating biosensors and rotary actuators or servos.

*** Perform stress, fatigue, and modes of failure for components, materials, and designs.

*** Develop Bills of Materials for projects, ensure designs and schematics are documented accurately using 2D and 3D modeling software.

*** Test and assess prototype products for efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.

Requirements:

*** BS Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

*** 3D Modeling experience with software packages including SolidWorks, Catia, Siemens NX, or similar.

*** Electromechanical engineering and design experience.
