Innovative and world-recognized company delivering solutions to aerospace and defense industry leaders seeks Material Handling Engineer to support provisioning to the space, missile defense and strategic systems, tactical systems and armaments areas.

Duties:

*** Review and approve new and existing material handling instructions, and input and maintain material handling instructions for program critical hardware.

*** Support development of work instructions to conduct lifts, including training, tooling, and number of personnel required.

*** Support technical reviews of material handling drawings.

*** Provide technical support by performing risk assessments, leading investigations and corrective actions for material handling issues, and reviewing material handling devices and specialty tooling for proper application and purpose.

*** Develop and maintain training curriculum, and train factory personnel on material handling procedures.

Experience Sought:

*** Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or Engineering.

*** 5+ years of experience in aerospace product and material handling tasks.

*** Experience reading and interpreting drawings, preparing factory layout plans, and developing cost estimates.
