*** Manage profitable growth of an established book of Marine business.

*** Analyze data and make appropriate individual and portfolio risk decisions.

*** Review applications and financials to determine acceptability of risk.

*** Apply pricing components and rating methodology as well as use predictive modeling tools to establish appropriate prices.

*** Conduct strategic account reviews.

*** Address issues such as: profitability, rate, retention, product mix, new business and portfolio management goals.

*** Analyze information on adverse underwriting decisions, rate appeals, underwriting requirements, status and declinations.

*** Maintain current regulatory knowledge.

*** Identify cross selling opportunities.

Relevant experience = Wet Marine, Ocean Marine, Longshore Insurance, Commercial Hull, Ocean Cargo, Vessel Pollution, Air Transit, Spoilage, Maritime Programs, etc.
