Manufacturing Process Engineer - Molded Composites - Pensacola, FL

Description
Seeking innovative manufacturing process engineer with experience developing sound, repeatable composite molding processes for products such as boat hulls, engine nacelles, truck cabs, railcar panels, etc.

Shall:

*** Evaluate product design, materials, and tolerance requirements to select, develop, and modify closed mold vacuum infusion processes.

*** Analyze permeability of reinforcement construction, resin viscosity, and pressure differential in the cavity in relation to atmospheric pressure to evaluate the flow of the resin.

*** Develop accurate bills of materials and ensure consistent infusion processes.

*** Inspect current processes for improvements, establish plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Required:

*** Experience with vacuum infusion or closely related closed mold process.

*** B.S. in Engineering discipline or equivalent technical degree.

*** 5+ years developing and improving processes within a composite manufacturing environment.
