Requirements:

*** Engineering degree and 3+ years related engineering experience in close tolerance manufacturing environment designing tools and machining methods.

*** Excellent knowledge of tool design and fabrication, manufacturing practices and techniques, and machining of aerospace-grade materials using 5 & 6 axis Milling Machining Centers.

Shall:

*** Develop, maintain, optimize, and continually improve manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements with ever better reliability, quality and cost savings

*** Optimize the use of resources and eliminate inefficiencies.

*** Analyze customer engineering drawings and documentation for materials, process and quality requirements.

*** Develop process plan summaries and operation sheets.

*** Recommend new and revised tooling and machines.

*** Select or develop manufacturing methods and procedures for fabrication of new parts including design and fabrication oversight of tooling, fixturing, and gaging.

*** Perform root cause analysis and recommend and follow-up corrective action.

*** Support and drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
