Seeking manufacturing manager with demonstrable expertise leading a well-oiled production team consisting of engineers, designers, drafters, production personnel, and procurement staff in a matrix environment. Responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.

Objectives:

*** Lead implementation and employee training for Lean Manufacturing methods as the company moves to incorporate Lean standards into all company facets.

Activities:

*** Manage team members, schedule projects, order materials, interface with vendors, manage equipment, oversee quality, and manage safety programs.

*** Investigate past projects to identify master data and incorporate into Enterprise Resource Planning and Material Requirements Planning systems to assist with future projects.

*** Develop and manage production schedules, use master data to identify project turnaround time and delivery dates.

*** Manage cost and identify cost saving measures.

*** Train and promote personnel with a focus on developing talent and advancing team members.

Qualifications:

*** Must have a technical Bachelors Degree, engineering discipline or equivalent preferred.

*** 5+ years manufacturing and production management expertise within a custom ordered electro-mechanical equipment manufacturing environment.
