Manager of Facultative Reinsurance Latin American Commercial Property Underwriting Underwriter Catastrophe Modeling _ .

Join US based organization that provides specialty property insurance for middle to large market Latin American businesses and lead a team of five underwriters.

*** Manage an existing property facultative portfolio.

*** Develop strategic, operational and tactical plans.

*** Manage Relationships with US and Latin American Brokers and Agencies.

*** Underwrite individual risks with speed, accuracy, and prudence.

*** Collaborate on product, rate review and underwriting guideline development.

*** Handle: inquiries, endorsement requests, premium audits issues, cancellations and reinstatements, etc.

*** Educate and train agents on products and underwriting systems.

*** Regularly review portfolio's catastrophe modeling and provide monthly and quarterly reports.

Requires:

*** Bilingual (English-Spanish) written and verbal communication skills.

*** 6+ years Property Underwriting experience with strong technical aptitude.

*** Track record analyzing rates, deductibles, terms & conditions and using Pro Rata & Excess of Loss Pricing tools.

*** Understanding of wholesale distribution channels.
